David Ricky
February 3, 1934 — July 25, 2017
David Lee Ricky, 83 of Greensburg formerly of Florida, passed away, Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital.
He was born February 3, 1934 in Lincoln, NE, a son of the late Hilda (Rice) and Leonard Ricky.
David was a very active member of Pineda Presbyterian Church in Melbourne, FL. He was a Vietnam veteran who prior to retirement was Chief Warrant Officer W4.
David loved to sing and sang bass for barbershop. He also played keyboard and was an avid bridge player.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Joan Marie (Kramer) Ricky; brothers, Don and Lowell; and sister, Bonnie.
Surviving are his children, Michael Ricky (Alice) and Cynthia Diamond; six grandchildren, Robert, Hilary, Chelsea, Sara, Gabrielle, and Brandon; and four great grandchildren, Vincent, Alexander, William, and Tristian.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 28th from 7:30pm until the time of service at 8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg, PA 15601.
Services will be followed by military honors provided by VFW Post 33 of Greensburg.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 9th at 10am in the Pindea Presbyterian Church 5650 North Wickham Road, Melbourne, FL 32940.
Interment will take place in Florida.
