David Gable

David M. Gable, 81, formerly of Greensburg, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, in Bel Air, Md. He was born in Johnstown July 1, 1940, and was the son of the late Stephen and Thirza Evans Gable. David was a retired manager with the K-Mart Stores. He enjoyed golfing with friends at the Greensburg Country Club and a was a longtime Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Fullen Gable; and a brother, Regis Gable . He is survived by his two sons, David (Rose) Gable and Daniel (Jodi) Gable; and two daughters, Pamela (Brian) Hoige and Patti (Michael) York; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Rebecca Gable Rutledge; and his niece, Morgan Gable. A private prayer service and visitation will be held for the family at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, with interment in St. Clair Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
