Darlene Ann Weyandt

Darlene Ann Weyandt, 77, of New Stanton, died, Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born in Greensburg Sept. 27, 1945, a daughter of the late Raymond J. and Isabelle Smeltzer Wineland. She was a former member of Middletown United Methodist Church. Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, doing crafts and working in her flower garden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter O. Weyandt Sr.; sisters, Thelma Wineland, Dolores Show and Ruth Quist; brothers, Marshall, John, Carl and Daniel Wineland; daughter-in-law, Jill Weyandt; and step-granddaughter, Brittany Jernigan. Darlene is survived by her children, Walter O. Weyandt Jr., Darrell L Weyandt Sr., Duane E. Weyandt and Denise Weyandt; grandson, Darrell L. Weyandt Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Carson and Kaleigh; sister, Patrica Pfeil; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023 at KEEPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Darlene's funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, in the funeral home.
