Daniel Komarinski, 84, of Greensburg, passed away, Sunday, March 12, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 25, 1932 in Export a son of the late Frank and Anna (Lestation) Komarinski.
Mr. Komarinski was a draftsman having worked for Westinghouse and was also a farmer. He loved to play cards with his family and friends and his favorite game was pinochle. He loved golfing with his sons and spending time with his family. Dan also enjoyed a good cigar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister and his beloved grandsons, D. Levi and Peter Leo Brunetta and a daughter in law, Susan Komarinski.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Peggy Jean (Kline) Komarinski; seven children, Daniel B. (Cindy) Komarinski; Sandra J. (David) Gantose; Mary Ann (David) Brunetta; Matthew A. (Tina) Komarinski; Judy L. Komarinski; Michael W. (the late, Susan) Komarinski; and Karen L. Komarinski; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, as well as, several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 3 to 8 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERALHOME, INC. 524 N. Main St., Greensburg where prayers of transfer will be recited on Thursday at 9am in the funeral home followed by his Funeral Mass at 9:30 am in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
