Dana Mcqueen

Dana Louise McQueen, 47 of Mount Pleasant, passed away, Thursday, January, 4, 2018 in Excela-Latrobe Hospital after an extended hospitalization. She was born in Greensburg June 21, 1970 to the late Thomas and Beverly (Bosch) Long. Dana was a member of Hempfield Church of Christ in Greensburg. She was very passionate about her children and their education. She ran a homeschool group as well as advocating for all homeschooler. She loved to cook, travel, spend time with friends and family and played 2 1/2 years of full contact women's football. She was trained and worked as a registered nurse, graduating from WCCC.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher R. M. McQueen; children Johnathan O'Brien, Conor McQueen and Sarah McQueen; Brother Thomas Long and wife, Marsha; many close friends she considered family and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A gathering will be held on January 17th from 6pm until the time of service at 7pm at the Hempfield Church of Christ 144 Hugh Black Rd, Greensburg, Pa 15601.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hempfield Church of Christ.
