Clifford Stauffer

Clifford Wilbur “Cliff” Stauffer, 89, of Greensburg (Unity Township), died Monday, June 26, 2017 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.  He was born on June 28, 1927 in Washington, PA, a son of the late Clifford and Madeline Stafford Stauffer.  Prior to retirement, he was employed by Westmoreland Hardware Company in the accounting and inventory department.  He was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ.  He was a veteran of WWII and served with the US Marine Corps.  Cliff enjoyed fishing and taught his children and grandchildren how to fish.  He also enjoyed bowling.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert William Yeskey; 4 brothers, Donald, Richard, David and Robert Stauffer.  Cliff is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Lucille Ludwig Stauffer; daughter, Jackie Dallara (Rob) of Uniontown, OH; brother, Gerry Stauffer of North Carolina; 2 grandsons,  Jason Yeskey (Jennifer) and Bob Dallara and fiancé Megan and granddaughter Cassidy Hall (Bill); 5 great grandchildren, Nick, Ben, Sarah and Adam Yeskey and Angus Hall.  Private burial services will be held for Cliff.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka Kansas, 66675-8517, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.  Arrangements are under the direction of Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, Greensburg.
