Claude Richard Dranzik

Claude Richard “Todd”  Dranzik of Forbes Road went to be with Lord on June 22, 2023.  He was born Dec 12, 1935 in Greensburg and was the son of John and Dorothy (Charnesky) Dranzik of Greensburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Caroline Pastor Fullman, Delores Kaminsky, and Esther O’Connell. Two brothers, John and James Dranzik, and his son Kenneth Dranzik. After high school, he served with the United States Marine Corps for three years and was Honorably discharged. A past Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, he served as an Assistant Scoutmaster on base while serving his country. He spent an entire career with IBM earning his degree in “Electronics” while in their employ, and retired as a Customer Service Engineer. He spent his final years as a resident of Walden’s View Senior Care Center after suffering a stroke in 2017. He is a member of St Bartholomew Catholic Church in Crabtree, Pa. and a “Life Member” of the following organizations:  Youngwood Sportsman Club, Old Crabtree Sportsman’s Association, Police Rod & Gun Club, US Marine Corps League Detachment # 834, Roosevelt Club, Hempfield Township, AMVETS Post 94, United Pa and a Retiree of Keystone Rod & Gun Club and Past President of Westmoreland County Sportsman League. He was also a member of Hecla Sportsman, and the National Rifle Association. He was a Hunter-Trapper Education Instructor for over 55 years. He is survived by a sister, Adelaide Saint of Jeanette. Two sons; Brian (Ann) Dranzik of Chicora, and Keith (Mary Ann) Dranzik of Huntingdon Valley, and two daughters, Lois (Sameh) Long of Montebello Ca, and Brenda (Steve) Fanala of Greensburg, Daughter-in-Law Martha Dranzik of Somerset in addition to many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 5 pm until the hour of service at 6 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.
