Casey Maxwell Treasure

Catherine 'Casey' Maxwell Treasure, 76 of Greensburg, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024.

She was born August 20, 1947 in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Charles Pennypacker Maxwell and Ruth Goodman Maxwell.

Casey was a 1965 graduate from Hempfield Area High School and a 1968 graduate from the Presbyterian School of Nursing. Prior to retirement, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at Conemaugh and Westmoreland Hospitals. She was known as Granny Goose to her beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Hayes E. Treasure; and her grandson, Brandon Hayes Treasure.

Surviving are her son, Christopher Treasure; daughter, Megan Treasure (Mark Gruver); three grandchildren, Maggie Treasure, Brianna Treasure and Xavier Rosado; two great-grandchildren, Gianna Bell and Cameron Winter; sister, Ruth Ann Maxwell; brother, Joseph Maxwell (Maureen) and several nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Karen Crow and also the staff at both RNC and Redstone Home Health for their incredible care of Casey.

Family and friends wil be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St, Greensburg.

Services will be held at St. Clair Cemetery Chapel, 944 St. Clair Way, Greensburg on Friday at 1pm.
