Beyond his military service, Brad was known for his sense of humor, love of gaming, and being a mentor to those he worked with. He loved Dungeons & Dragons, board games, and video games, always ready to run a game or attempt to play a video game badly. He loved watching westerns, classics, and even Disney with his kids. Brad also loved to fish, shoot, and bowl with his friends and family.
Brad is survived by his loving spouse; Leslie A. Dovey, his children by birth and by choice; Emily L. Dovey, Rebecca L. Price,Tim W. Price, and Zackary J. Poole; his parents, Robert L. Dovey and Eleanor P. Hutchings; his brother Mark E. Dovey and partner Edward Warren; and many beloved cousins, extended family members, chosen family, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Brad will be remembered for his loyalty, humor, curiosity, and the deep love he held for his family. He never hesitates to help a person in need but would never want to burden others. His legacy lives on in the stories he shared, the games he played, and the lives he touched.
