Elizabeth B. “Betty” Langer Feathers, 92, of Greensburg, died Friday December 11, 2020 at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born on July 19, 1928 in Carnegie, PA, a daughter of the late Devada (Dee) Caddies and Henry Julius Langer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert E. Feathers; her brother, Henry Jay Langer; her sister, Dorothy Agnes Langer; and her brother-in-law, Edgar Feathers. She is survived by her son, Eric R. Feathers (Scarlett) of Trafalgar, IN; and daughter, Nancy F. Janes (Garth) of Longmeadow, MA; granddaughter, Chelsea Elizabeth Janes of Alexandria, VA; and grandson, William Spencer Janes of Los Angeles, CA; sister-in-law, Marian Langer of Valencia, CA; sister-in-law Mary Alice Feathers; brothers-in-law William (Marian) Feathers and Paul (Mary Lou) Feathers and families; also, cousins and their families. Betty attended Gregg Street Elementary School, Scott Township High School (Clark) and Carnegie High School, Class of 1946. She was a graduate of Pennsylvania College for Women (now Chatham University), Class of 1950. She was a member of P.E.O., Chapter AJ, Greensburg, PA. She and her husband were charter members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, New Martinsville, WV and were members of Penn-Zion’s Lutheran Church, Harrison City, PA. Thank you to all the wonderful people at Redstone Highlands and Redstone at Home Hospice. A memorial service for Betty will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, June 26, 2021 in Penn-Zion's Lutheran Church, 3417 Route 130, Harrison, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Penn-Zion’s Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 351, Harrison City, PA 15636 or to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 216, New Martinsville, WV 26155.
