Anna Marie Glaus

Anna Marie Glaus, 92, passed away on Sept 28th at Redstone North Huntington, following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon and her sister, Norma Jean Courtney. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie; her brother, William E. Robb Jr (Nancy); several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Anna Marie was born in Dover, Delaware, graduated from Caesar Rodney High School, and received a bachelors degree in Nutrition and Home Economics from the University of Delaware. Upon finishing college, she took a job at West Penn Power in Greensburg demonstrating electric ranges, and there met her husband of 61 years, Gordon. She managed Tri-City meals on wheels for several years, and was also the food service director at Saint Joseph’s in Latrobe. She and Gordon were life long members of the First Baptist Church of Greensburg, and she served in many capacities over the years. Her church family was one of her greatest joys. One of her church friends said she will most definitely be working in heavens’ form of fellowship hall organizing things in the kitchen. She was an avid reader, loved to paint ceramics, enjoyed needlework, and loved golfing with Gordon at Hannastown golf club. Friends and family will be received for visitation at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home 524 N. Main St Greensburg on Wednesday morning from 10-11am, with funeral service at 11 am , followed by internment at Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
