Althea M. Farabaugh, 94, of Greensburg, died, Thursday, November 20, 2025. She was born in Greensburg on February 25, 1931, a daughter of the late George Edwin Farabaugh and Mary V. Hankey Farabaugh. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Prior to retirement, Althea was employed as a dietician and a caretaker. Althea enjoyed square dancing, ballroom dancing, music, singing and playing the piano. She was involved in many clubs in the Greensburg area, including book clubs at Seton Hill University and the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library. Althea was an entrepreneur and sold Amway and Shaklee products. She put her dietician knowledge into practice when cooking and canning. In her younger days, she enjoyed gardening with her father. Althea loved life and was a caretaker to many and was very selfless in her living. She was so trusted as a caretaker, she helped raise other people’s children and their families. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence and Gerald Farabaugh; also, many nieces and nephews. Althea is survived by a nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 9 am until the hour of Althea’s liturgy outside of mass at 10 am on Friday, November 28, 2025 in Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.
