Alice Schmidt

Alice M. Schmidt, 88, of Export, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. She was born in Pittsburgh on June 13, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Martha King Neumeyer. Alice was a retired employee of the Franklin Area School District. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis Schmidt; and two sisters, Barbara Anne and Margaret. She is survived by her two daughters, Patrisha Miller and Valerie Riley and her husband Daniel; her stepchildren, Charlene Rhome, Linda Grabb, Blanche Marshall, Lou Schmidt and Dewayne Schmidt; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Private services and entombment will be held in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, P.O. Box 1552, Greensburg, PA 15601.
